Datazag is a team of online marketing and technology professionals with years of experience running large scale email operations.
We started Datazag to make sense of email sender reputation. The light bulb moment came when we segmented data by mailbox provider and mapped that to the SMTP logs to create a feedback loop. We found that email delivery results could be very different depending on the mailbox provider such as Google and Microsoft. From this we started to analyse DNS records for our email lists. Today we have a global database that identifies mailbox provider for over 90% of domains.
